eVolo skyscraper competition 2021 - 2nd place winners. This project proposes a high-rise solution to Mexico City's water related issues.
These problems include flooding and water shortage (due to the over-population and density as well as lack of access to a large water source). These cause an overdraft of the city's ground water and the sinking of the ground as a side effect.
The proposal utilises the high-rise structure as a transfer vessel- harvesting the large quantities of precipitation in the area and directing them back to the ground in order to re-fill the natural aquifer.
